About Us
Mains Co is a local, family owned and operated company. We have lived and worked in Vero Beach since 1989. Our Home Watch division was formed because of a need that we realized our clients had. While providing exterior cleaning services to our clients, some of them expressed their desire to have a reliable and professional company take care of their homes while they were away. They had legitimate concerns about leaving their home unattended for the season. Although some had a neighbor or a family member check on their homes periodically, they did not feel completely comfortable with that arrangement. What would happen if there was a problem while they were out of town? Would it be found right away, or would it be weeks before it was discovered? If repairs were needed, how would they get those completed? They wanted to have a professional Home Watch company monitor their home. With Debbie’s background as a real estate agent and a rental agent, it was a natural fit.
Our goal is to provide you with peace of mind while you confidently leave your home in our care. Because we are a family business, you will not have to worry about who will be monitoring your home each week. We will provide you with prompt, courteous and professional services.

Debbie Mains – Owner
Debbie was born in south Florida and grew up in East Tennessee. She moved back to Florida in 1989. Her first job in Florida was working for a luxury real estate company, on the barrier island. She later earned her real estate license and worked in both the rental market and in sales. Debbie’s focus and dedication are to her husband, their three kids and the family business they are building together. Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering her time, and playing with the family’s two dogs, Mya and Copper!
